Watercolour Brushes

Watercolour brushes are generally made out of either synthetic fibres, or real animal hair. Kolinsky Sable has long been the preferred choice for watercolour painting, but modern advancements in technology now mean that some synthetic brushes, such as Pro Arte's Prolene Plus range, can almost match genuine sable in terms of paint capacity and durability.

We stock synthetic brushes from Pro Arte, as well as series 7 sable by Winsor & Newton, renaissance squirrel mop and sable by Pro Arte, and goat hair hake wash brushes by C. Roberson.
